Bollywood actor Kiara Advani has offered fans a rare, gentle peek into her new life as a mother, and it didn’t come through a red carpet or a glossy shoot, but a quiet moment at home.

On Monday evening, the 34-year-old shared a candid Instagram story showing her flipping through a magazine that featured her own photograph, with her daughter Saraayah by her side. 

In the short clip, the War 2 actress can be heard asking, “You want to read mama’s magazine? Okay, let’s see where is mama!” 

As the page turns, tiny fingers and a cheerful baby voice briefly steal the frame. The actor captioned it simply: “Me and my mini enjoying our Monday magazine read.”

The video marked the first time Kiara has publicly featured her daughter since welcoming her with husband Sidharth Malhotra on July 15, 2025, in Mumbai. 

True to their low-key approach, the couple had kept details around the birth private, revealing Saraayah’s name only months later in a joint post where they called her “our princess” and “our divine blessing.”

In a recent Vogue India interview, the Kalank star revealed she continued filming for seven months during her pregnancy, known only to her director and producer. 

Before intense scenes, she would rest a hand on her stomach and whisper reassurances to her unborn child: “Mama is only acting.”

While fans are soaking in these softer moments, Kiara is also gearing up professionally. 

Her next film, Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups, directed by Geetu Mohandas, is set for a theatrical release on March 19, 2026.
