Sadie Sink has a theory about her Stranger Things bestie, Eleven, played by Millie Bobby Brown.

While speaking with Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show, Sadie was pulled into answering the big question: “Is Eleven still alive?” The host asked the Netflix breakout star to share her thoughts on that.

“I think she's dead,” Sadie asserted, adding, “Is that like a hot take or something?”

Fallon agreed with her, saying that he thinks the same way.

“I think, like, Mike's story is just one last story, and that's like—then they say goodbye to childhood,” she added. “But that's just one final tale, and that's it.”

Sadie shared that she believes Mike’s story for Eleven is kind of a “coping thing.”

“I think it’s stronger, right?” Sadie said, and Fallon agreed but insisted that some people say it’s just an interpretation.

So, in Sadie’s interpretation, Eleven has died, but fans can still make their own interpretations, believing that Eleven is alive in a valley between three waterfalls.

After the Stranger Things finale streamed on January 1, a popular “Conformity Gate” spread over TikTok, with fans sure that Season 5 ended with one epic fake-out.

As per the theory, Vecna was never defeated, and the Season 5 “happy ending” was an illusion.

Clues like character poses and hidden messages suggest Hawkins remains under his control, the Mind Flayer survives, and a secret final episode on January 7 may reveal the true ending.

However, what is officially confirmed is that the documentary, One Last Adventure: The Making of Stranger Things 5, will premiere on January 12 on Netflix.
