Harvey Weinstein accuser Rose McGowan has recently made shocking claims about the disgraced American film producer.

According to the Daily Mail, the 52-year-old actress accused the 73-year-old filmmaker of sexually assaulting her at the 1997 Sundance Film Festival and has broken her silence regarding his imprisonment.

Weinstein is currently serving a 16-year prison sentence that began in 2018, and he was convicted again in a New York retrial in June 2025.

Now, speaking on the latest episode of the We Need To Talk podcast, Rose shared she thinks the movie mogul may not be imprisoned at Rikers Island.

"I would love to see a picture of him in prison. I suspect he’s been in a mansion in Connecticut. That’s my theory," she said when asked if she believes justice has been served.

"I don't know if he's ever spent a day in prison. Hollywood, baby. I don't know, maybe," the Scream actress added. "I think he was a thug. Not the Mafia boss of the cool kind with the suit, like Marlon Brando, Godfather type, but more like a street way."

Weinstein, best known for producing Good Will Hunting and Shakespeare in Love, was accused of sexual misconduct by nearly 60 women and later convicted in New York and California.
