Sarah Jessica Parker is over the moon after being honoured with the Carol Burnett Award ahead of the 2026 Golden Globes.

The Sex and the City actress’ husband, Matthew Broderick and celebrity friends including Colman Domingo and Kristin Davis presented her the award at the Golden Eve on January 8.

After receiving the accolade, Sarah thanked her “brilliant” husband of 30 years, praising him for giving her “a family discount and all access pass to his masterclass in acting and comedy”.

“His dedication and to the family we have made our divine James, Will, Loretta and Tabitha… I love you so deeply and admire so much,” said the 60-year-old in her heartfelt acceptance speech.

In the end, the Hocus Pocus star added, “The people you are becoming that every day at home and at work I want to make you proud.”

Interestingly, Sarah also posted a photo of her award on Instagram before the Golden Eve broadcast.

Captioning the post, she wrote, “It’s impossible to simply ‘caption’ my profound gratitude for the evening that sent me back east with this platinum statue in the magical @itscarolburnett’s name.”

Meanwhile, Sarah mentioned, “If you have about five minutes to hear my deeply heartfelt words and also to see the great Dame @helenmirren be so deservedly honoured [with the Cecil B. DeMille Award], tune in tonight to Golden Eve on @cbstv and @paramountplus at 8p ET. X, SJ.”

It is pertinent to note that the legendary actress Helen was also being honoured with the Cecil B. DeMille Award for her acting career.
