Matt Prokop, best known for his role in High School Musical 3, has been hit with another major setback.

According to a report by TMZ, the 35-year-old actor was arrested in Texas and is currently being held without bail on multiple charges, including alleged possession of child pornography.

The report states that Prokop was taken into custody on Christmas Eve in Victoria County, Texas.

Local law enforcement confirmed that he remains in the county jail and is also facing a charge of resisting arrest.

The Geek Charming actor’s arrest reportedly resulted from an alleged violation of bond conditions tied to a prior case, per local publication Crossroads Today.

Those bond conditions were related to a May 2024 arrest in which Prokop was charged with aggravated assault, as well as resisting arrest.

For the unversed, bond conditions are rules set by a court that must be followed after a defendant is released on bail, and violating them can lead to re-arrest.

Details regarding the alleged bond violation by the former Disney Channel actor have not been publicly disclosed.

It is worth noting that Prokop was previously romantically involved with his co-star Sarah Hyland, who obtained a restraining order against him after alleging verbal and physical abuse. 

The order required him to stay away from the actress for three years.
