Ranveer Singh’s film Dhurandhar not only created a massive buzz on social media but also went on to set records by crossing new milestones day after day.

The film began its journey with a relatively quiet opening, but thanks to the internet buzz, it successfully compelled audiences to leave their homes and head to cinemas.

By its 33rd day in theatres, the film crossed ₹831 crore in India alone, which is now a record for Hindi cinema.

Trade people say the film worked because it stayed consistent. There were no big jumps or dramatic weekends, just steady footfall, mostly because people kept recommending it to others.

A lot of that credit is going to Ranveer Singh. His performance is being talked about a lot, especially because it’s not his usual loud, high-energy role.

As Hamza, he’s much more controlled and intense. And audiences seem to have connected with that. That kind of impact is rare, especially for a big-budget movie.

The spy thriller has already turned into a monster hit, reportedly crossing ₹840 crore in India and over ₹1,200 crore worldwide. 

There are reports that the film will release on Netflix on January 30, hinting that the film’s journey may soon enter a new phase.
