Shahid Kapoor has finally taken on his dark side as he returns with a wild, intense new look in O' Romeo.

On January 9, 2026, the filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj dropped the first glimpse of his much anticipated movie, and it’s already creating  buzz over the internet.

The ninety five second teaser displays a side of the actor we’ve never seen “feral, unhinged, and completely drenched in blood.” 

He sports full body tattoos, heavy chains, and a crazy smile that feels miles away from his recent roles.

The teaser begins with the actor in a cowboy hat yelling for "Chhotu," then losing control in a swearing, violent outburst, giving the film a rough, tense vibe.

The project unites a renowned cast, Nana Patekar, Farida Jalal, Aruna Irani, Avinash Tiwary, Disha Patani, Vikrant Massey with Tamannaah Bhatia featuring in a cameo role.

The upcoming box-office hit O' Romeo marks Shahid’s return with Vishal Bhardwaj after Kaminey and Haider, and his first film with Triptii. 

Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, it will be released in cinemas 13 February, followed by streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
