Ariana Grande, who recently worked on the movie, Wicked: For Good and is ready for her tour, revealed what draws her to acting.

The pop star has disclosed that she is open to acting and wants to challenge herself and is only interested in projects that ask, “something new of me.”

In a candid conversation with Variety, the 32-year-old discussed the possibility of working again as an actor over a few conditions.

The we can’t be friends hitmaker stated, “I want to challenge myself and take on roles that exercise different muscles.”

She added, “I hope we've had many more conversations like this - about projects that are unique, surprising and meaningful.”

The Side by Side songstress confessed that she doesn’t know what the future holds for her, and she doesn’t like to think about too far ahead, but she is drawn to things that feel “different."

The Nickelodeon child star also compared acting to working as a musician and confessed that it is a very “unique” experience.

“"You're still crying the tears, feeling the feelings, laughing the laughs. It's still your heart and soul at play - just in service of someone else's story. And in doing that, you learn so much about yourself." The Grammy Award winner concluded.

Ariana is also coming back with her tour, The Eternal Sunshine Tour in 2026, which will start on June 6, 2026.
