The young romance that made everyone sigh has apparently faced a big obstacle. Even though neither of them has spoken out about the rumours the speculation surrounding Khushi Kapoor and Vedang Raina's split is increasing.

The announcement came only a couple of days earlier on January 8, when the industry insiders made the surprise revelation: Khushi and Vedang the co-stars of The Archies (2023) have supposedly broken up after a two year romance.

On Thursday, journalist Vickey Lalwani posted an update on his Instagram page revealing that the two young actors have allegedly broken up after more than two years together.

“It’s over,” a source close to the couple told the journalist and added, “Khushi and Vedang are not a couple anymore but the reason for the break-up is not known. It’s something that has happened only very recently."

A timeline of their relationship

It is said that the whole thing started on the vintage sets of Zoya Akhtar's The Archies (2023). There was a strong connection between Khushi and Vedang apart from just acting; he was playing Reggie and she was playing Betty.

The following year, 2024 the couple had already become experts in soft launching their relationship. Apart from family dinners with Khushi’s father Boney Kapoor they were seen at Manish Malhotra’s Diwali party, airport runs and even together at dinner.

During one of the episodes of Koffee With Karan when the topic came up Khushi appeared very composed retorting to the rumours by using the age-old “we're just good friends” line and laughing.

A few months later, in April 2025, Khushi uploaded on her social media a series of pictures of her wearing a delicate gold pendant. The initials? V & K with a heart in the center. It was very much like a Gen-Z approval stamp resembling her sister Janhvi’s “Shiku” necklace. And after that, everything changed.
