Coronation Street famed supporting actor has died just days after Christmas prompting an outpouring of tributes from co-stars and fans.

Tony Little famously known to fans of the show as "Old Kebab Guy" passed away on December 28, 2025 at the age of 88.

Although his character had no dialogue on screen still Tony became a familiar and fondly remembered face on the ITV soap.

Fans often spotted him in Weatherfield scenes alongside major characters where his presence added warmth and character to the show.

Fellow Coronation Street supporting artist Adam Blease confirmed the news on X sharing Tony’s dates of birth and death alongside a broken heart emoji.

He described Tony as a “comedian, singer, entertainer and Corrie supporting artist for many years,” adding, “Tony Little was not only hilarious, he was also a great friend. We had the most unlikely friendship brought together by joy and laughter. Always iconic and a true legend.”

The unofficial Coronation Street podcast The Talk of the Street also paid tribute saying Tony’s appearances “always made me smile” and remembering him as “quite the character.”

Tony regularly appeared in scenes with stars including Bill Roache, Samia Longchambon and Daniel Brocklebank and was well known among the show’s supporting cast community.

While he may not have spoken on screen Tony Little left a lasting impression on Coronation Street viewers and will be remembered as one of the show’s quiet legends.
