Hugh Jackman had a fun karaoke sleepover at “living legend” Neil Diamond’s home.

On Saturday, January 10, the Song Sung Blue actor shared a touching video of the duo performing I Dreamed a Dream from Les Misérables, during which Diamond wrapped his arm around Hugh as he clung close.

“Never ever, in my wildest dreams did I think I would sing karaoke with this living legend. @NeilDiamond @songsungbluefilm,” Hugh wrote on X (formerly Twitter).

The video ended with Diamond leaving a sweet smooch on Hugh’s forehead.

Hugh’s karaoke night, and eventual sleepover, with Diamond began with an emotional phone call.

Speaking at a Song Sung Blue screening in New York, the Wolverine actor revealed that Diamond called him after watching the film and was “very emotional.”

“He was crying,” Hugh recalled, adding that the movie “meant a lot” to Diamond and his wife. During the call, Hugh seized the moment.

“So I took the opportunity on that phone call to invite myself over for a cup of tea,” he said.

Diamond agreed, then casually added, “So you wanna stay the night?”

“That’d be great,” Hugh replied.

Kate Hudson later joked, “He got to sleep over,” as Hugh confirmed, “I got a sleepover!”
