Chris Pratt reveals custom Christmas gift from Arnold Schwarzenegger
Chris Pratt has shared a glimpse into what Christmas looks like when your father-in-law is Arnold Schwarzenegger, and it involves oversized art and movie memorabilia.
Appearing on The Graham Norton Show on Friday, Jan. 9, the Guardians of the Galaxy star revealed that Schwarzenegger went big with his holiday gifting this year, presenting Pratt and wife, Katherine Schwarzenegger, with a custom-made painting featuring their family.
“His love language is giving gifts, that's for sure. He just goes all out with his gifts,” Pratt said, describing the artwork as a “six-foot by eight-foot” portrait.
The painting shows Schwarzenegger dressed as Santa Claus while the couple’s three children peek from behind a Christmas tree as he eats a cookie.
Pratt admitted the festive masterpiece raised one practical question.
When host Graham Norton pointed out that a Christmas-themed painting might not suit year-round décor, Pratt joked, “Yeah, I'm not sure exactly what we're supposed to do with that for the rest of the year.”
He added that it would likely make its return in November.
The actor, who has been married to Katherine since 2019, shares daughters Lyla Marie, 5, and Eloise Christina, 3, along with son Ford, born in November 2024.
Pratt also has a 13-year-old son, Jack, from his previous marriage to Anna Faris.
In addition to the painting, Schwarzenegger gifted Pratt a pair of crocodile boots worn in one of his films.
“We have the same size feet,” Pratt noted, calling the gesture “very thoughtful.”
