Ba***ds of Bollywood star Gautami Kapoor has revealed intimate details about Bobby Deol’s demeanour on the sets of the 2025 series.

The actress, known for portraying a pivotal role in the show, recently opened up to Siddharth Kannan about Aryan Khan’s craving for perfection throughout the project.

She said, “The first time I met Aryan was during the reading of the show. I was waiting to see what he would do. There were 25 actors in a room. He came in, started the reading, and the clarity he had for each and every character big or small was staggering.

“My mouth was open. I was like, ‘Oh my God, at 24–25, he has this kind of clarity and maturity about a project that he has written and is going to direct.’”

In addition, she recalled how Aryan’s stickling nature for perfection would often irritate Bobby Deol, who would end up doing 10–15 takes to meet the young director’s requirements.

“He used to get irritated. Aryan is a stickler for perfection, so it was never one or two takes; it was always 10–15 takes. We all went through it whether it was Bobby Deol, Manoj Bawa, or anyone else.”

For the unversed, Aryan made his directorial debut with the satirical series on 18 September 2025, winning praise from directors and filmmakers across the industry.
