Rhea Chakraborty reflects on Sushant Singh Rajput’s ‘disturbing’ death

Rhea Chakraborty is candidly reflecting on Sushant Singh Rajput’s ‘disturbing’ death as she looks back on painful memories.

The actress, who was previously arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in connection with allegations linked to his death, opened up about coming to terms with the traumatising events surrounding the MS Dhoni star’s demise.

In a recent episode of her podcast Chapter 2, Rhea broke down in tears as she recalled how Singh’s death took a toll on her health. She also highlighted that she would never have been able to make it through the most difficult time of her life if her close friends, including Shibani Dandekar and her sister Anusha Dandekar, had not supported her.

The Mere Dad Ki Maruti alum said, “We don’t need a temple in the house; we need a picture of these women.”

For the unversed, Sushant’s family had held Rhea responsible for his death, accusing her of abetment, theft and financial fraud back in 2020.

In 2025, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) cleared her of all charges in a detailed report.
