Director Priyadarshan’s daughter, Kalyani Priyadarshan, is beaming with pride over her wise career choices as Ranveer Singh drops out of Don 3.

The Simmba actor, currently basking in the success of his latest release Dhurandhar, has reportedly exited Farhan Akhtar’s directorial and is keen to focus on Pralay after his recent intense film.

In an exclusive interview with Hindustan Times, Kalyani spoke at length about landing lucrative opportunities in the Hindi film industry.

She told the outlet, “I don’t know how to explain this, but good stories have always found me, regardless of the language. I’ve always said that I’m a very greedy actor when it comes to scripts.”

The Lokah star further emphasised the importance of strong scripts, irrespective of language.

“If there’s a good script, whichever language it is in whether Marathi, Hindi, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu or Malayalam, I want it. Obviously, I’m one person and I can’t shoot ten movies at the same time, and there are 100 great scripts out there. But this is where I’m at,” she added.

For the unversed, Kalyani is reportedly set to make her Bollywood debut alongside Ranveer Singh in Pralay.
