Timothée Chalamet is reportedly being extra cautious about his and girlfriend Kylie Jenner’s safety amid his busy awards season schedule.

According to a recent report by The Sun, the 30-year-old actor has increased security measures to ensure protection for both himself and his 28-year-old reality TV star girlfriend.

Chalamet has also been avoiding red carpet arrivals at major events, recently skipping appearances at the Palm Springs Film Festival and the Critics Choice Awards.

However, he was later spotted inside the venues alongside Jenner.

"Timothée’s popularity has skyrocketed in recent months following his role in Marty Supreme and his portrayal of folk legend Bob Dylan in A Complete Unknown," a source told The Sun. "He is also in the spotlight due to his high-profile relationship with Kylie, who has millions of followers on Instagram."

The insider added that, as a result, the Dune star is "taking no chances during awards season” while “ensuring he is protected by the best in the business."

Notably, Chalamet has earned a nomination for Best Actor in a Musical or Comedy at the Golden Globe Awards for Marty Supreme, scheduled for Sunday, January 11.
