Anaganaga Oka Raju premiered in US theatres ahead of its India release on January 14, coinciding with Sankranthi. Soon after the early shows, viewers shared their reaction on social media platforms, especially X( formerly Twitter).

Several users highlighted the film’s festive setting and family- friendly approach. Many posts mentioned actor Naveen Polishetty’s comic timing as a key element of the film.

The story was set in the city of Gaurapuram and followed Raju, a quirky character whose life changed after meeting Charulatha. 

Their journey unfolded during a large wedding, forming the backdrop of this festive release.

The film was scheduled to release in Indian theatres on January 14 as part of the Sankranthi lineup.
