Connor Storrie stars as hockey player Ilya on the show
American actor Connor Storrie has revealed what his life was like before he landed the role that has made him a star overnight.
The actor stars as Russian hockey player Ilya Rozanov on the hit show Heated Rivalry, which has became a global sensation.
Connor revealed that before he landed the role, he was waiting tables at a restaurant and almost got fired the day he has secure the jobe on the show.
While speaking on Today show, the actor said “I was working at a restaurant, I worked at restaurants for eight years.”
The Texas-born actor said ”The day that I found out that I had booked Heated Rivalry, I actually almost got fired from my restaurant.”
As per the actor, he messed up at the job big time and was given a last warning by the manager.
During his break at work, he picked his phone and found out he got the job to play Ilya on the show.
Connor stars alongside Hudson Williams in the smash-hit romance series, which based on Rachel Reid's book of the same name.
