Timothée Chalamet has reflected on his time filming Marty Supreme and shared some shocking moments that stood out.
During a Q&A with Robert Downey Jr., on January 14, at New York’s DGA Theater, the 30-year-old American and French actor opened up about an unforgettable filming experience.
“I won't say who, but in that motel sequence, there are a lot of non-actors…that I find it really thrilling to work with, but sometimes it would take multiple takes to really get something out of them," he shared.
Continuing, “And I'm really getting in the guy's face and I'm really trying to get him angry with me. I was saying to Josh [Safdie, director], he's not getting angry with me, he's not getting angry with me."
But the moment took an unexpected turn, with the situation quickly escalating when the background actor confronted the Dune star, saying, "I did another take, and then the guy said, ‘I was just in jail for 30 years. You really don't want to f**k with me. You don't want to see me angry."
Timothée let out a nervous laugh, wrapping up his story by recalling, "I said to Josh, Holy s**t, who do you have opposite me, man?”
For the unversed, Marty Surpreme hit the big screens on December 25, 2025.
