Reese Witherspoon shared a lighthearted moment with her longtime friend and fellow actress Jennifer Garner.

On Sunday, January 18, Witherspoon shared a behind-the-scenes Instagram clip of a FaceTime call with the 53-year-old, joking that Garner has a "dark side."

The video was shared as part of the duo’s ongoing promotion of a book they are currently reading together.

The clip shows Witherspoon in her living room, joking that the Alias actress is difficult to work with while poking fun at her sweet public image.

“People think of her as this nice lady from West Virginia who takes care of underserved kids, has three children, and makes her own Pop-Tarts,” the Legally Blonde star quipped. “But she’s got a dark side. I don’t know what it is, but she has it.”

The joke continued as someone off camera mentioned Garner was two minutes late, prompting Witherspoon to add, “Like my time doesn’t matter.”

Moments later, it was revealed that the Yes Day actress had already tried calling, leaving The Morning Show actress mortified as she finally answered the FaceTime.

“I love you, @jennifer.garner,” Witherspoon captioned the post.

Reese Witherspoon and Jennifer Garner have been close friends for years and have also collaborated professionally as executive producers on Apple TV+’s The Last Thing He Told Me, starring Garner.
