Mandy Moore stepped back into the spotlight by reuniting with her former This Is Us castmates, marking her first public appearance since the 'toxic' mom group controversy sparked by Ashley Tisdale French’s The Cut essay.
On Saturday, January 17, the 41-year-old actress made an appearance at Los Angeles’ The Wiltern for 'That Was Us' event, where she joined former co-stars Sterling L. Brown and Chris Sullivan for a live podcast recording.
The Because I Said So actress also showcased her musical talent during the event, performing a song after the live podcast recording, per Instagram videos shared a day later.
Mandy’s outing came after US Weekly reported on January 8, that she felt "blindsided" by the High School Musical alum’s essay, which went viral for describing her departure from a mom group believed to feature Many, Hilary Duff, Meghan Trainor and other parents.
On January 18, she also took to her Instagram stories to express her gratitude for those who attended the event, saying, "Late night but full heart.”
