Little Mix’s Jesy Nelson ends engagement with fiancé after revealing twins’ muscle disease?
Jesy Nelson reportedly calls off engagement with longtime partner Zion Foster
Little Mix’s Jesy Nelson has reportedly ended her engagement to longtime partner Zion Foster, weeks after sharing that her 8 month old twins are facing a severe muscle disease.
After four years of being together, the 34-year-old English singer has parted ways with Zion but continues to be friends and committed co-parents, as per The Sun.
They had announced their engagement in September 2025, only four months after the birth of their twin daughters, Story and Ocean.
Earlier this month, the Secret Love Song singer revealed that her daughters had been diagnosed with spinal muscular atrophy type 1, a rare genetic condition that causes muscle weakness.
In a video posted on Instagram, Jesy shared, "A few months ago, my mum noticed that the girls were not showing as much movement in their legs as they should be.”
Continuing, "It wasn’t really a concern to me at the time because from the minute I left the NICU, I was told, ‘Your babies are premature, so do not compare your babies to other babies. They won’t reach the same milestones. Take them as they are.’”
"A few signs then started to show a bit later on that they were struggling to feed properly. It was gradually getting less and less,” she added.
“Long story short, after the most grueling three [or] four months and endless appointments, the girls have now been diagnosed with a severe muscle disease called SMA type 1,” Jesy disclosed.
The Sweet Melody hitmaker said Story and Ocean then quickly started treatment for SMA type 1 and now have completed their course.
