Taylor Swift is set to receive another honour by being inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2026.

Swift will become the youngest artist alive to be inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame at the age of 36.

Except for the Fate of Ophelia singer, Walter Afanasieff, Terry Britten and Graham Lyle, Kiss founders Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons, Kenny Loggins, Alanis Morissette, and Christopher “Tricky” Stewart will also be receiving the prestigious induction this year.

Qualifying for the Hall's induction has one of the toughest rules and that is that the songwriter’s first commercially released song must be at least 20 years old. 

Swift’s debut single Tim McGraw was released in June 2006 making her qualified this year.

Following is the list of songs Swift submitted to get qualified for the induction this year: All Too Well (10 Minute Version), Blank Space, Anti-Hero, Love Story, and The Last Great American Dynasty.

The ceremonial celebration of these songwriters is set to take place on June 11 at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City.

Swift has been in the headlines staying busy since last year after finishing her historical The Eras Tour.

Her latest album The Life of a Showgirl dominated the charts giving her career a boost.

Her song The Fate of Ophelia kept hoarding the No.1 spot for 10 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 while Opalite reached No. 2.

Swift is set to dominate the limelight this year with more exciting updates including her upcoming wedding to the Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce this year.

Although no wedding date has been officially announced so far but various insider tips suggest the ceremony could be taking place in June 2026.

Swift now joins the Hall alongside some of the most iconic songwriters across pop, rock, and R&B.
