Kim Kardashian addresses criticism over her daughter’s new look
Kim Kardashian breaks the silence over the criticism she has been facing about her daughter’s transformation.
In the recent sit-down at the latest episode of Khloé in Wonder Land, the reality TV star addresses her parenting style while speaking with her sister, the host Khloé Kardashian.
Addressing the criticism over daughter North West, wearing fake facial piercings and tattoos, blue hair, and a dermal piercing, Kim called it a self-expression way.
"I'm just not a judgmental person like that, so I try not to pay attention to it," she began. "But, I think that no one knows unless they're in my shoes what I'm dealing with and how we have to manage certain things from the outside world or even close in our life that we have to go through together."
Furthermore, the SKIMS founder shares the one big misconception about her relationship with North among people, that is, “trying be her bestie and let her get away with a lot.”
“Like, no, Northy actually has a lot of rules,” Kim cleared. “[That's the] one area I do let her express herself. I love her for that, and she would do it, you know, regardless."
Kim also explained that her daughter has always been fond of colorful hair and fake piercings.
She said North’s transformation wasn’t out of the sudden because Kim had her daughter’s childhood pictures wearing a fake septum ring, green and pink braids when she was in first grade.
“But she's always loved the colored braids in her hair since she was little," Kim said.
