Social media calls it a fun watch
ne viewer wrote, “#ChathaPacha, Popcorn Entertainer. 1st half is all build up but its the 2nd half which shifts gear into Banger mode. Shankar Ehsan Loy's terrific score, Solid fight sequences & super performances from the entire cast with each having fire intros & Walter Entry 3/5.”
Another tweet focused on the mass moments and fan excitement. It read, “#ChathaPacha This Thursday you’re getting twice the dose of this madness. Walter’s entry will be pure fire, fans and Gen Z together are going to set the place ablaze. Let him come let M arrive. @mammukka #Mammootty #AbrahamOzler.”
Mixed reviews, but performances earn praise
Some of them also contributed balanced and detailed reviews/testimony on a few occasions.
One review said, “#ChathaPacha Slow testing initial portion as they set up the characters and premise. But once the wrestling kicks in it's pure adrenaline until the interval block.”
The same review added, “The second half however dips into generic drama and relies on the megastar cameo for the big save.”
Still, the performances got strong praise. The tweet said, “The cast has put their best foot forward with Roshan Mathews mighty impressive in this brooding tough man avatar. Vishak Nair, as the antagonist, is a manic scene stealer.”
Music and action shine in theatre experience
One review said, “Technically a banging soundtrack from SEL trio and Mujeeb's BGM is top notch.” At the same time, the viewer felt something was missing and wrote, “But wished the camera work had the fluidity of the Thallumalas-Gymkhanas. Too hyper here.”
The review ended on a strong note saying, “Overall a fun one time watch that is best enjoyed in a max audience packed screen. Especially nostalgic for those who spent the WWF era trying every finishing moves on their siblings. No point of waiting for OTT and then whining about things not working. This demands a community viewing.”
