Priyanka Chopra responds as SS Rajamouli praises her performance in 'The Bluff'
SS Rajamoulitook to social media to commend the Priyanka Chopra for her work
Indian actress Priyanka Chopra impressed director SS Rajamouli with her performance in her upcoming film,The Bluff. The RRR director took to social media to commend the Barfi actress for her work.
He wrote, “Priyanka is unstoppable and always surprises What a commanding presence and fiery performance.Looking forward to#TheBluff.”
Priyanka responded to the praise. She said, “Thank you for your kind words@ssrajamouli sir.”
The trailer of The Bluff, featuring Priyanka Chopra and Karl Urban, showed a tense period action drama with themes of survival, revenge, and maternal instinct. The story was set against the raw landscapes of the Cayman Islands.
The film was directed by Frank E. Flowers, who co-wrote the screenplay with Joe Ballarini. It included real locations such as Skull Cave and the towering bluff, which highlighted the danger and isolation faced by the characters.
In another project the Fashion actress joined SS Rajamouli for the first time in a film titled Varanasi.
The film included Mahesh Babu as Rudhra, Priyanka as Mandakini, and Prithviraj Sukumaran as Kumbha. Rajamouli confirmed that Mahesh Babu appeared as Lord Rama in a conclusion that took 60 days to shoot.
Earlier,Indian musician Rickey Kej praised Priyanka Chopra following the release of the trailer for her upcoming film The Bluff.
The 44-year-old composer, who is a three-time Grammy Award winner, reflected on the Bajirao Mastani star’s achievements in both Bollywood and Hollywood.
On Thursday, January 8, Kej shared a note on his social media platform X (formerly Twitter), where he described Chopra as one of Bollywood’s most underrated celebrities.
He wrote, “My Opinion: The one actor in India who we do not celebrate enough is @priyankachopra. She is the ONLY Indian actor (of any generation) who has truly made waves in Hollywood and globally (After being one of the most sought after in India for many years).”
In the same post, the Winds of Samsara singer highlighted that the Heads of State actress has worked alongside several globally renowned celebrities.
