Jacob Elordi, who initially gained popularity after working on the Netflix series, The Kissing Booth, might be the chosen one for the iconic James Bond role.
The American has become one of the critically acclaimed actors as he is continuing to shine bright and receive major recognition as of early 2026.
According to the reports, the Saltburn star is selected as a top contender for the role last played by Daniel Craig.
It was revealed that the Critics Choice award winner recently met with the franchise’s producers and director Denis Villeneuve, who is involved in the production of the upcoming movie.
Notably, the finalised casting decisions will be announced in mid 2026 as the production might start later this year or in the beginning of next year.
It is to be noted that the 28-year-old also received a nomination for Oscars’ Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role award for his latest movie, Frankenstein.
For the unversed, Jacob, who starred in season one and two of the HBO series, Euphoria, which became a career-defining work for him, is back with season three, which will be released on April 16, 2026.
