Robert Pattinson recently opened up about his unique experience filming latest movie, Dune 3.

The English actor, who is featured in the final chapter of sci-fi trilogy, is reportedly going to play the  villain role, Scytale in the movie.

While he didn’t not share details about his role, the Twilight star was excited for this opportunity.

Robert told GQ magazine, “I was experiencing things which hardly anybody in history has or will ever experience, and it’s just absolutely incredible.”

Elsewhere in the interview, The Batman actor also recalled the moment when he realised that he was on a Dune set along with his co-star Zendaya.

“Being out in the desert shooting Dune, it’s weird,” said the 39-year-old.

Robert remembered “shooting a scene with Zendaya, the first scene we shot together out in the desert, I’m like, ‘Oh! We’re, like, in Dune!’ And she’s like, ‘Yeah… we’re doing a Dune movie’”.

But it really was like, ‘It really feels like you’re in a Dune movie.’ It was really, really fun,” noted the Mickey 17 actor.

Interestingly, Dune: Part Three, which is directed by Denis and written by Jon Spaihts, is based on Dune Messiah, a 1969 novel by Frank Herbert.

Meanwhile, Dune: Part Three is slated to release in theatres on December 18, 2026.
