'Border 2' trended on social media with netizens sharing glowing reviews of action and gripping scenes
The much anticipated Border 2 received widespread hail on X (formerly Twitter) after release, with netizens lauding Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, and action sequences.
The war drama, which is directed by Anurag Singh, also featured singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh and Ahan Shetty and is based on real life events from the 1971 Indo Pakistani war.

For context, the Border 2 is the sequel to JP Dutta’s 1997 film Border and is expected to earn around Rs 125 crore over its opening weekend despite clashing with Marty Supreme.
The film covers battles such as Poonch, Basantar, Operation Chengiz Khan, and the Defence of INZ Khukri. The veteran star Sunny plays Lt Col Fateh Singh Kaler, Varun portrays Major Hoshiar Singh Dahiya, Diljit as Fg Offr Nirmal Jit Singh Sekhon, and Ahan Shetty appears as Lt Cdr M. S. Rawat.
