Social media welcomes a new trend every other week and this time it is a penguin.
In a recently emerged video, a lonely penguin strolls into another direction away from his colony in distant mountains which has left netizens with the discourse of the week.
The flight-less bird has now been dubbed as the “nihilist penguin”.
The video originally comes from a German filmmaker, Werner Herzog’s 2007 documentary Encounters at the End of the World.
The clip features a lone Adelie penguin leaving his tribe and walking away.
Now, even the White House has participated in the trend.
The White House Official on X shared an AI-generated picture of US President Donald Trump walking alongside the lonely penguin.
The post was captioned “Embrace the Penguin.”
The AI picture has been viewed over 19 million times and has added on to the ongoing craze of the penguin.
In the picture, penguin can be seen holding the US flag and walking towards Greenland with Trump.
It is an addition to the ongoing Trump discussion that US will buy Greenland from Denmark.
