Rachel McAdams reacts to Dylan O’Brien’s crush confession
'Send Help' is expected to release on January 30, 2026
Ahead of their upcoming comedy-horror-thriller film Send Help, Dylan O’Brien made a candid confession during his chat with E! News.
“I had to completely conceal that I was totally in love with her from the time I was 12," he admitted, referring to his co-star Rachel McAdams.
The revelation left the 47-year-old Canadian actress stunned as it caught her off guard.
"Oh, my god, really?” she said during her conversation with E! News at the film’s Los Angeles premiere on January 21.
“Now it’s going to be awkward between us," she playfully quipped.
However, the Mean Girls alum, who shares two children with Jamie Linden, expressed the sentiment wasn’t entirely one-sided.
"He’s the best," she said, describing her 34-year-old co-star.
Continuing, “I had a platonic crush back on him. He’s such an extraordinary actor and he brings his A game every day. I think he’s so funny.”
“He makes me giggle,” Rachel added.
The Teen Wolf alum also praised her during his interview, saying, "I used to really love the Hot Chick, which is one of her earliest movies.
"That was a classic movie for me growing up. There are so many more that I love so much: Wedding Crashers, Mean Girls, obviously. She was such an inspiration to me when I was younger,” he admitted to the outlet.
Send Help is expected to release on January 30, 2026.
