Akshay Kumar has shared a playful birthday video for Priyadarshan, leaving fans laughing at a surprise cameo.
Taking to his official Instagram handle, the 58-year-old superstar appeared on video rocking a wooden horse and said, “Many many happy returns of the day, Priyan sir. You are turning 69, a great age sir. Great age!”
He went on to wish the director success for his upcoming projects before adding, “Also a friend of mine wants to wish you sir.”
Right then, the actress Vidya Balan made a surprise entry in the clip, reflecting her Bhool Bhulaiyaa character.
She quipped, “Happy birthday Priyan sir and all the best for Bhooth Bangla.”
In the caption accompanying the post, he wrote, “Here’s wishing the best birthday to one of the best human beings I know. Have a blessed year Priyan Sir, Janamdin ki bhooth bhooth badhai.”
Professionally, the acclaimed director is set to collaborate with Akshay on a number of ventures, including Bhooth Bangla, a horror comedy.
Meanwhile, the filmmaker’s next venture, Bhoot Police 2, is grabbing headlines.
According to the source of Pinkvilla, Priyadarshan is demanding Rs 21 crore for the sequel, which won’t include Saif Ali Khan or Arjun Kapoor.
