Mayor Zohran Mamdani has found himself in trouble after his mother Mira Nair was named in the newly released batch of the gruesome Epstein files.
The Justice Department released a new batch of the files related to the convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein who is said to be linked to many powerful individuals who partied with him on his island.
The files have been released after a new bill was passed to disclose what the government knew about the late offender and the people involved with him.
One of the emails mentioned Mira attending an afterparty at convicted sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell's house for her 2009 film Amelia.
The email was dated October 21, 2009 and was sent by publicist Peggy Siegal to Epstein which read “Just left Ghislaine’s townhouse…after party for film. Bill Clinton and Jeff Bezos were there…Jean Pigozzi, director MIra Nair…etc.”
Ghislaine was Epstein’s accomplice and is currently serving her sentence in prison after being convicted for her crimes.
Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche said the department would be releasing more than 3 million pages of documents along with more than 2,000 videos and 180,000 images.
