David Beckham shows off his cooking prowess to celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay after Brooklyn rift
David Beckham has recently taken a dig at his son Brooklyn as he flaunts his cooking skills in a new clip.
The former football star took to Instagram on January 31 and posted a new video of himself, cooking a Scallop Truffle Risotto recipe, sent to him by Gordon Ramsay, to mark their meal box partnership.
David was brought by celebrity chef on board to create “five-star recipe” for meal box company, Real Home Chef, in a clip.
The 20-year friends were seen talking on a FaceTime as Gordon watched over the football star’s cooking expertise.
“Look what has just arrived at my house. What have you sent me?” asked David, to which Gordon responded, “It's a little gift from chef to chef.”
The football star jokingly said, “You could have smiled by the way.”
The celebrity chef remarked, “That is me smiling… Inside that box is a five-star recipe of a beautiful scallop truffle risotto, which I know you love.”
“That's very true actually. Okay so risotto, watch and learn,” stated David, seemingly throwing subtle shade at his son.
After David finished cooking a luxurious meal, Gordon gushed, “They are looking beautiful. Great sear by the way. Bellissimo!”
In the end, “I've had a good teacher. All done mate, finishing touches,” as he sprinkled chives on top.
Meanwhile, David’s clip came days after his son faced backlash by fans as he cooked his special spaghetti bolognese meal, however, without spaghetti.
Last month, Brooklyn lashed out at his parents in a scathing statement on social media, declaring, he won’t reconcile with them.
