Gloria Estefan marked a ferocious victory at Sunday’s Grammys awards.
The 68th Annual Grammy Awards were held at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on Sunday, February 1.
Among the categories that were announced at the earliest were Best Tropical Latin Album, which was won by the most influential Latin artists globally, Estefan.
After Estefan won the prestigious award for Latin music, the singer extended her thanks to her husband Emilio Estefan, who joined her on the stage.
The singer noted that it's amazing that she still has the passion in her heart for music after 50 years.
“Thank you for this amazing album that you produced for me. You are the best,” Estefan said to her husband, calling him her biggest inspiration.
Adding some more gratitude to her speech, Estefan noted that they were one of the first groups to record bilingual.
“I'm proud that we did both languages with Latin music all over the world. Proud to be Latino,” she concluded. “Thank you Alvarez our engineer. Love you baby.”
