Deepika Padukone has recently made rare admission about her daughter Dua in a candid interview.

The Chennai Express actress reportedly took a brief break from limelight after becoming a mother to an adorable daughter, whom she welcomed with husband and actor Ranveer Singh in 2024.

Reflecting on motherhood, Deepika feels that her priorities have changed over the last two years.

After returning to the big screen, the Piku actress reveals that she’s obsessed with her daughter.

While speaking to Harper’s Bazaar India, Deepika responds to a question about her “current obsession”, saying, “Not current, I’m going to remove current from it. My obsession is my daughter.”

Further on, the Pathaan actress opens up that the “weirdest thing” in her bag at present  “was a piece of ‘thepla’” that her daughter was eating and was in her bag, which she found after two days.

Although Deepika used to play badminton before Bollywood, the Om Shanti Om actress mentioned that if  not acting, she would have been “an interior designer”.

“My husband says a lawyer,” she quips.

Before concluding the chit-chat, Deepika  adds a phrase she often finds herself using and that is “I love you” especially to her daughter.

Meanwhile, on the work front, the actress will next be seen in upcoming King movie, alongside Shah Rukh Khan, slated to release in theatres on December 24.

Moreover, Deepika is also featured in highly anticipated AAA movie with Allu Arjun.
