Connor Storrie sends fans into frenzy after exciting announcement
Heated Rivalry star Connor Storrie is set to make his debut on Saturday Night Live as a host later this month.
After his success from the sports romance series, the 25-year-old actor seems to be preparing to take the SNL stage as a host on February 28, alongside musical guest Mumford &Sons.
The hosting gig marks the growing list of high-profile appearances for Connor and his co-star Husdson Williams after their breakout success from the Canadian hockey drama which was released back in November 2025, gaining popularity in early 2026.
Taking to Instagram, after the announcement aired during the sketch comedy show’s episode on January 31 show, he wrote, "I am literally the luckiest person in the world."
Connor and Hudson also stepped in as torchbearers ahead of the 2026 Olympics last week. Connor, who also recently signed with CAA, attended YSL’s Paris Fashion Week show from the front row.
His appearances didn’t end here as he dropped by Late Night With Seth Meyers and Today earlier this month.
Fans also reacted to the news of Connor being the new host on SNL.
"CONNOR STORRIE FOR SNL IM SO SEATED!" a user penned on X, formerly Twitter.
"Connor is incredible! Can't wait, going to watch SNL for the first time in years because of him," another said.
After the success of the hit series, Heated Rivalry has been renewed for another season.
