Nicola Kidman’s upcoming show, Scarpetta, has recently sparked decades-long feud with Angelina Jolie.

According to Radar Online, a source revealed that the Maleficent actress is “angry and says the project was stolen from her”.

But another industry insider spilled that Angelina “got outplayed because Nicole understands the current film and TV industry better”.

“By comparison, Angie lives in a bit of a bubble,” said a tipster.

The fact is  Nicole is “the better businesswoman” and she knows how to deal with Hollywood’s “movers and shakers” compared to Angelina, who is “beautiful and admired for her philanthropy” but doesn't  possess business acumen.

Interestingly, a second source noted that Australian actress’ “stealing” the Scarpetta role from the Tomb Raider actress is   the latest chapter amid rivalry that began at the time when Angelina replaced Nicole opposite Brad Pitt in 2005 movie, Mr & Mrs Smith.

“The dark dynamic between Angelina and Nicole goes back years,” remarked an insider.

However, adding fuel to Maria star’s fury is her “belief” that Nicole always sided with Jennifer Aniston in the “long-running battle” over Brad.

“Angie has never gotten over the fact that Nicole was Team Jen. She felt very unfairly judged at the time, and she's never let that go,” concluded an insider.
