Epstein Files: Elon Musk responds to name drop
Elon Musk was mentioned in the newly released files
Tech billionaire Elon Musk has responded to the controversial mention in the newly released Epstein files.
On January 30, the Department of Justice released a new batch of files related to the crimes of convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, who passed away in 2019 while serving his sentence.
In one of the emails included in the files, the Tech billionaire was mentioned asking for the “next party” details.
In response to the allegations, Musk has clarified his positon in a post shared on X.
Musk has denied being involved in the wrongdoings of the late offender.
“Nobody has fought harder for full release of the Epstein files and prosecutions of those who abused children more than I did,” he wrote.
The Tesla founder added that he continues to speak about it despite knowing those who are involved would “Admit nothing; Deny everything and make counter-accusations against me”.
He added “Nonetheless, the extreme pain of being accused of being the opposite of who I am was worth it.”
Other powerful men named in the files include Donald Trump, Bill Gates, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, Richard Branson and many more.
