EJAE, Audrey Nuna and Rei Ami, the three singers who made Golden the first-ever k-pop Grammy winning song, reflects on the creation of KPop Demon Hunters song.

Speaking with PEOPLE, Rei Ami says the record smashing song “literally changed the world, and it also changed mine.”

The song which came out back in 2025 summer, June 20, gave a blowing experience to EJAE. The singer recalled her phone started to flood with notifications.

"And my fiancé loves Reddit,” EJAE said, “and his Reddit posts were all about KPop Demon Hunters. He was like 'Babe, I think this is getting pretty viral right now.'"

Meanwhile, Audrey admitted that this niche was good to work with.

"I know that K-pop groups and K-pop has had such global support for a long time now... but I just didn't think that it was going to become so mainstream the way that it has," Audrey said.

The outlet then asked the trio to describe the recording process for Kpop Demon Hunters. And the three singers gave their unique answers.

"Challenging," Audrey said, where as EJAE said, "Weirdly invigorating," and Rei added, "And emotional.”
