Frozen has delighted fans, with Josh Gad offering a new insight into the third sequel.

On Monday, January 2, the 44-year-old American actor, who voices the character of Olaf in the fantasy film, took to his Instagram account to share a photo of himself holding a stuffed snowman.

The snap also showed the creators and animators of the upcoming movie.

“3rd is always the charm. Time to build another snowman. #Frozen3,” Gad captioned the post.

The highly anticipated third sequel is set to return to theatres seven years after the last film, under the direction of Jennifer Lee and Trent Correy.

In 2023, Disney officially confirmed Frozen 3 and announced that production is underway, with Gad’s post now suggesting that voice recording for the film may have begun.

In addition to the Pixels actor, the forthcoming animated movie will feature the return of main cast members Idina Menzel (Elsa), Kristen Bell (Anna), and Jonathan Groff (Kristoff).

Speaking to Variety about Frozen 3, Bell said she has already read the script but could not reveal any details.

“That’s all I can say. I’m under lock and key,” she noted.

Frozen 3 is slated for a global theatrical release on November 24, 2027.
