Ejae, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami, the voices behind Netflix’s K-pop Demon Hunters, are set to take the stage at 2026 BAFTA Film Awards on February 22, with a performance of the film’s hit song Golden.
"Performing at the EE BAFTA Film Awards is a golden moment that our younger selves could never have imagined,” the trio said. “We’re so proud to represent Netflix’s KPop Demon Hunters and spread the film’s positive message to fans around the globe.”
The fan favourite track Golden dominated the Billboard Hot 100 for eight straight weeks and made history on February 1 as the first K-pop song to win a Grammy, taking Best Song Written for Visual Media.
But in a shocking turn of events, the film was deemed ineligible to compete for a BAFTA film award as it failed the theatrical release requirement.
While the film secured a qualifying theatrical release in the U.S. ahead of its Netflix debut, its U.K. release came directly from the streamer on June 20. It ultimately qualified for the Oscars and earned a Best Song nomination.
