Netflix announced its 2026 content roster through its recent platform announcement. The upcoming project Maa Behen will bring together Madhuri Dixit and Triptii Dimri and Dharna Durga and Ravi Kishan.

The announcement event showed the audience their first look at the show. The glimpse showed Madhuri's character Rekha acting as a mother to her two daughters named Triptii and Dharna.

Madhuri handles conflicts between her daughters but ends up fighting with them directly. She teaches her daughters while they teach her about fashion and other topics. Ravi Kishan plays Gupta ji who secretly loves Rekha.

He attempts to be excessively friendly with her while trying to become friends with her daughters. The teaser shows a battle between people who follow traditional values and those who adopt modern lifestyles. The mother maintains her traditional lifestyle while her daughters embrace contemporary fashion trends.

The announcement event featured the entire cast of Maa Behen. Madhuri described her experience with the action film as a thrilling project while Triptii admired the two veteran performers Madhuri and Ravi for their support during her entire shooting period.

She described Dharna's ability to imitate others as a source of entertainment that kept her company during their time on set.

In an interview Ravi had opened about the film. "It’s a great feeling. I had the opportunity to work with Sridevi ji, but never with Madhuri ji, so this is a big charm. It's my privilege to work with her. Triptii, India’s new sensation, is also part of the film, so God-willing, it’ll be a beautiful project," he had mentioned.

He had added, "It's an exciting character in an entertaining film, and people have never seen me in such a character before. It is a wonderful, heartwarming, romantic and affectionate role!"
