Christian Bale shares ONE routine he followed to get into ‘The Bride! role
Maggie Gyllenhaal directed movie features Christian Bale as Frankenstein’s Monster role
Christian Bale has recently opened up about one routine he used to follow before getting into The Bride! role.
The English actor, who plays the role of Frankenstein’s monster in Maggie Gyllenhaal directed movie, shared that it took him “six hours in the makeup chair to transform into ‘Frank’”.
So, in order to do this, the Oscar winner revealed that he would “scream like crazy, every day” to keep himself from “going insane” in a new cover story for Entertainment Weekly.
The Dark Knight actor went on saying, “Just to [release the] despair, all of that restraint that you have to display when you're sitting still for that long.”
As a result, Christian mentioned this practice provided “a great bonding experience” with his collaborators in the makeup trailer.
Elsewhere in the interviewm, The Batman Begins actor admitted that he loved to release a “scream” but he had to figure out the right time to do it.
“I didn't want to do it driving into work because I thought I might cause a crash. And I didn't want to do it by myself because I thought everyone would just think I'm going nuts,” explained the 52-year-old.
Christian added, “The whole crew got involved by the end, because people would hear us screaming.”
Meanwhile, The Bride!, starring Jessie Buckley, Christian, Peter Sarsgaard, Annette Bening, Jake Gyllenhaal and Penélope Cruz, will hit the theatres on March 6.
On the work front, Christian is also busy filming biopic Madden with Nicolas Cage, set to release in theatres on November 26.
