'Finding Her Edge' gets exciting update
After a long wait, Netflix has finally greenlit the fan favourite figure skating show Finding Her Edge for a second season.
The hit YA series is an adaptation of Jennifer Iacopelli’s 2022 novel of the same name.
Since its debut on January 22, the show is seemingly shaping up to be a global sensation, holding strong in the streaming giant’s English TV Top 10 and now ranking third worldwide, with over 12 million views across countries, as per Netflix.
The show centers on three Russo sisters, heirs to a struggling figure skating dynasty. The first season takes the viewers into the life of the 17-year-old middle sister Adriana (Madelyn Keys) as she papers for the World Championships with her new partner Brayden (Cale Ambrozic), all while having unresolved feelings for her ex-partner Freddie (Olly Atkins). Things grow complicated when Adriana and Brayden fake a romance to secure a sponsorship that could potentially save the rink.
Finding Her Edge also casts Alexandra Beaton (Elise Russo), Alice Malakhov (Maria Russo), Harmon Walsh (Will Russo), Millie Davis (Riley Monroe), and Niko Ceci (Charlie Monroe).
