Nicki Minaj slams Trevor Noah over controversial Grammys joke
Nicki Minaj did not hold back after Trevor Noah joked about her at the Grammys
Nicki Minaj has hit back at Trevor Noah after he made jokes about her during the 2026 Grammy Awards.
The rapper took to social media to respond after Noah referenced her while hosting Sunday night’s ceremony comparing her famous curves to President Donald Trump as part of a mock impression.
During his opening monologue Noah joked about how Trump might speak to Minaj saying: “Actually, Nicki, I have the biggest ass. I have it. Everybody is saying it, Nicki. I know they say it to you, but it’s me. Look at it baby: WAP, WAP, WAP.”
Minaj who did not attend the Grammys this year appeared unimpressed by the remarks.
Shortly after the show she shared a strongly worded post online framing Noah’s comments as part of a larger attack against her.
“As they do their ritual tonight, God almighty will reveal himself to them. The ritual will backfire on them. God will not be mocked,” she wrote.
“Blessed is the MIGHTY NAME OF JESUS CHRIST. Every tongue that rises up against me in judgement shall be condemned & put to shame.”
She also made a personal jab at the comedian adding: “Trevor refuses to come out the closet when everyone in the industry knows his boyfriend. Allegedly.”
The 12-time Grammy nominee whose real name is Onika Tanya Maraj-Petty has recently drawn attention for her public support of President Trump.
In November Minaj appeared at a United Nations-related event alongside Ambassador Mike Waltz where she backed Trump’s claims that Christians are facing persecution in Nigeria.
“I would like to thank President Trump for prioritising this issue and for his leadership on the global stage,” Minaj said at the time calling for action to protect religious freedom.
Last week Minaj was also seen holding hands with Trump at a summit in Washington, D.C. where they promoted his investment account initiative for newborns.
Now Trevor is yet to respond to Minaj's alleged claim about him.
