Bollywood actor Imran Khan’s much-awaited return film Adhure Hum Adhure Tum was postponed due to changes at the streaming platform backing the project.

The film was earlier planned for release in early 2026.However, the schedule was affected after internal changes took place at the platform, according to a report by HT City.

According to Hindustan Times, a source told that the executive handling the project was no longer associated with the platform, which led to uncertainty across several titles. “Because of the reshuffle, many projects were put on hold, including this one,” the source said.

Adhure Hum Adhure Tum was directed by Danish Aslam. The film starred Bhumi Pednekar as the female lead, while Gurfateh Pirzada played an important part alongside Imran Khan.

The romantic theater was described as a mature love story that focused on relationships, marriage, separation and emotional growth.

The project was said to draw from personal experiences, making it a significant film for Imran’s return to acting.

Imran Khan was last seen in the 2015 film Katti Batti. The Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu actor later appeared in a brief cameo in Happy Patel Khatarnaak Jasoos.
