Eduardo Verástegui has launched a furious and explicit rant against Bad Bunny following the rapper’s major win at the 2026 Grammy Awards.

The 31-year-old rapper won Album of the Year for his sixth studio album 'Debí Tirar Más Fotos'.

While accepting the award the Puerto Rican star made a political statement on stage saying “ICE out” in reference to US Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

The moment sparked immediate backlash from Verástegui who is a Mexican actor and activist best known for Sound of Freedom.

Verástegui took to X to criticise both the win and Bad Bunny’s music.

“Bad Bunny won this year’s GRAMMY. Ah, those were the days when Frank Sinatra, Adele, or Stevie Wonder received that award,” Verástegui wrote.

“Today, all you have to do is wear dresses, babble unintelligible lyrics, glorify vulgarity, and sing with your mouth full of food to get it handed to you,” he added.

He went on to accuse the artist of hypocrisy arguing that Bad Bunny’s Grammy speech contradicted the themes of his songs.

“This character claims that we are not animals, but he behaves like one,” he said.

“He says that ICE is ‘wild,’ while his music promotes the most savage instincts: without order, without beauty, and without responsibility,” he continued.

Verástegui also questioned Bad Bunny’s cultural influence particularly on children.

“This guy is no good to society, and even less so to children,” he added.

“Do yourselves a favor: turn off the TV, turn off the noise, and let’s recover common sense, culture, morality, beauty, and dignity.”

Bad Bunny has not responded publicly to Verástegui’s remarks.
