While promoting The Last Thing He Told Me, Jennifer Garner shocked fans at an Apple TV press event in Los Angeles, with an unforgettable anecdote about biting a chunk of her co star’s ear during a fight scene.

A clip from the series was shown at the panel, on February 3, featuring a uniformed man, played by actor and stunt performer Sala Baker, who appears at Hannah Hall’s home and launches into an intense fight with the 53-year-old actress’ character, as per The Hollywood Reporter.

Addressing the crowd, Jennifer referred to the 2007 action film that she starred in and Sala, took on the role of a kidnapper.

"Pete Berg, who was the director, told him to try to kill me," the 13 Going on 30 star shared.

"We did not have a lot of choreography, and he told me to do anything I could to survive. He did, and I did, and I ended up scrambling onto his back. I bit his ear, and we have a picture of him missing a chunk of ear, because we were not kidding," she admitted.

Almost two decades later, Jennifer and the 49-year-old New Zealand actor go head to head again in a new fight scene for The Last Thing He Told Me.

"We went for it in a way that the crew, this was maybe our first or second day of shooting, were like, ‘Can you be careful with her?’ I was like, ‘No, no, he’s not going to be careful. I’m not going to be careful. Just back out of the way. I have a score to settle here,'” she went on to share.

Her story left her fellow co star Nicolaj Coster-Waldau stunned, who exclaimed, "Can we just go over that again? You bit a piece of his ear off?”

“Like Mike Tyson,” Jennifer humorously quipped.
