Love Story: John F. Kennedy Jr. and Carolyn Bessette, formerly known as American Love Story, is the autobiographical show based on the life, love and death of John F. Kennedy Jr. and Carolyn Bessette.

The show, created by Connor Hines is based on the book Once Upon a Time by Elizabeth Beller, premiered on February 12.

The couple was once one of the most high-profile couples in the US. One being the son of late president John F. Kennedy and Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, and Carolyn being a famous fashion publicist.

Sarah Pidgeon stars as Carolyn alongside Paul Kelly as John F. Kennedy Jr.

While speaking about her character, Sarah said “The acting challenge was taking documentaries or books about her, and trying to find a commonality of how people described her to create the character.”

The duo got married on Georgia’s Cumberland Island in 1996, but their love sory was cut short when both passed away on July 16, 1999 in a tragic plane crash.

The series will consist of 9 episodes that will release from February 12 to March 26.
